Guy Loranger represented Forrister who worked at a Sacramento area Victoria’s Secret. Victoria’s Secret accused the plaintiff of stealing merchandise. Victoria’s Secret flew in their investigative team from Chicago. The investigators interrogated plaintiff and as a result of the interrogation, Forrister had a nervous breakdown which caused her to suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She sued Victoria’s Secret for personal injury and false imprisonment. After a jury trial, the jury found for the plaintiff. She was awarded eighty seven thousand dollars. The parties then settled the case for a confidential sum and waiver of appeals.
